This song, Alentejo, Alentejo, was arranged for Banda Sinfónica in April 2015 to be part of the closing concert of the XII Encontro de Culturas - "Sinfonia EnCante", held in Serpa on June 10, 2015.
It is one of the most beautiful "modas" ever composed for an Alentejo choral group and has the particularity of having been written by José Gato, whom I had the pleasure of meeting and who I had the honor of having as my neighbor, living just a few doors down from mine.
