This medley celebrates the musical career of the Portuguese group Anjos, known for their remarkable impact on the national pop music scene since the late 1990s. Through a careful selection of four of their most emblematic songs — Perdoa, Quero Voltar, Tempo and Ficarei —, this arrangement for symphonic band offers a new perspective on the sound universe of brothers Nelson and Sérgio Rosado.
Each track is reimagined with rich textures and orchestral colors, respecting the emotional essence of the original songs while exploring the expressive potential of a symphonic formation. From the melancholy of Perdoa, through the nostalgia of Quero Voltar and the introspection of Tempo, to the hopeful promise of Ficarei, the medley travels a narrative of feelings that have marked generations of listeners.
This arrangement seeks not only to pay homage to the legacy of the Angels, but also to establish a bridge between popular music and the symphonic repertoire, opening space for new forms of musical interpretation and enjoyment. The arrangement is authorized and registered by the Portuguese Society of Authors (SPA).
