FADO FROM THE BENCHES OF THE PELLORY
The song Fado dos Bancos do Pelourinho is part of the popular music songbook of the Beira Baixa region. In this sense, a suite of songs from this same region of the country was created, of which this song is a part. This arrangement was written in the spring of 2010 by order of the Banda da Covilhã. The first edition of this work was recorded by the Banda da Armada, and is made up of 6 movements in its entirety. The suite can be performed in its entirety or individually.
