SWEDISH MEMORY
This overture was composed, rehearsed and premiered in concert on a tour of Sweden, for which I was invited as a musician, by the Banda 1º de Janeiro de Castro Verde in 2007. The work has a simple overture form, ABA, lasting just over 4 minutes, and aims to describe all the energy and emotion that the trip gave me at the time. The work was reissued in December 2016, in order to review some harmonies and make it easier to perform for most Bands.
